Oppo Find X8 Ultra: A New Flagship Smartphone on the Horizon?

Rumors are circulating that Oppo is preparing to launch its latest flagship smartphone, the Find X8 Ultra, alongside the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro in October. The new device is expected to come with a range of exciting features, including two periscope cameras, a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, and a customized Sony sensor.

According to tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, the Oppo Find X8 series will be released in October, with the Find X8 Ultra being the most powerful and feature-rich device in the lineup. The smartphone is also expected to come with an imaging kit, which could include advanced camera software and hardware.

Another reliable tipster, Digital Chat Station, has claimed that the Ouga group, which includes OnePlus, Oppo, and their sister companies, is developing its own MagSafe-like system for upcoming handsets. This system will include mobile phone cases with magnets and wireless charging support, as well as a “magnetic heat dissipation back clip” and other accessories.

However, the tipster notes that the phones will not have “true magnetic wireless charging” due to Apple’s patent restrictions. Instead, the Oppo Find X8 Ultra will likely be compatible with the new range of magnetic accessories, making it the first Oppo flagship smartphone to support this technology.

As per past leaks, the Oppo Find X8 lineup will feature 1.5K+ resolution displays, with the base model sporting a 6.5-inch flat display and the Find X8 Pro getting either a 6.7-inch or 6.8-inch micro-curved flat display. The phones will also draw power from a 6,000mAh battery.

While Oppo has not officially confirmed the launch of the Find X8 Ultra, these rumors suggest that the company is gearing up to release a powerful and feature-rich flagship smartphone in the coming months.
