George Moghalu Resigns from All Progressives Congress (APC) Due to Personal Reasons

George Moghalu, a founding member and first National Auditor of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has formally resigned from the party, citing personal reasons. The former Managing Director of National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) made the announcement in a resignation letter dated August 26, 2024.

In the three-paragraph letter, Moghalu expressed his gratitude to the party and its members, stating that he hopes to maintain a cordial relationship with them. He also wished the party and its members the very best, concluding the letter with his best regards.

The resignation letter was addressed to the chairman of Uruagu Ward 1, Nnewi, Nnewi North LGA, Anambra State, and was copied to both the local governments area and state chairmen of the APC. Moghalu’s decision to resign from the party is effective from August 26, 2024.

As a founding member and former National Auditor of the APC, Moghalu’s resignation is a significant development in the party’s history. The reason for his resignation remains personal, and it is unclear what the future holds for Moghalu’s political career.
