Chidimma Adetshina Escapes South Africa, Joins Miss Universe Nigeria

Miss South Africa Contestant Shuns Return to South Africa, Finds Joy in Nigeria

Chidimma Adetshina, a former Miss South Africa contestant, has made it clear that she is not looking forward to returning to South Africa anytime soon. The model, who faced criticism in South Africa during her contestant announcement, has found a new home in Nigeria, where she is currently competing in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.

According to reports, Adetshina pulled out of the Miss South Africa pageant after the South African Home Office accused her mother of fraud and identity theft. The allegations led to a tumultuous period for the model, who eventually accepted an invitation to join the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant.

In an interview with Cool FM Nigeria, Adetshina expressed her joy about her stay in Nigeria, stating, “I think it’s safe to say I’m not going back. It’s been amazing. I’m not even looking forward to going back to South Africa. I just want to explore more. I want to stay longer and see what happens next.”

Adetshina’s decision to stay in Nigeria comes as a surprise, given the controversy surrounding her departure from the Miss South Africa pageant. However, it appears that the model has found a new sense of purpose and belonging in her father’s homeland.

As Adetshina continues to compete in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, it remains to be seen what the future holds for the embattled model. One thing is certain, however – she has found a new home in Nigeria, and she is eager to explore more of what the country has to offer.
