Enyimba Focuses on Integration, Finishing in Pre-Season Build-Up

Enyimba Technical Adviser Calls for Improved Finishing in Pre-Season

In a recent pre-season friendly match against Akwa United, Enyimba’s technical adviser, Olanrewaju Yemi, expressed satisfaction with the team’s overall performance, but highlighted the need for improvement in converting chances.

The match, played at the training pitch of the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, ended in a goalless draw. Despite creating several scoring opportunities, Enyimba were unable to convert them into goals.

"We created many scoring opportunities, but couldn’t convert them," Yemi said in an interview with Enyimbafc.net. "We will work on our finishing and build on this performance as we continue our pre-season preparations."

In addition to fine-tuning their finishing, Yemi emphasized the importance of integrating new players into the team. The pre-season friendly served as a good test for the new signings, who showcased their potential and earned praise from the technical adviser.

"They showed great potential, and we are excited to see their growth and contribution to the team," Yemi said.

With this pre-season campaign, Enyimba is preparing for the upcoming season, and Yemi’s words serve as a reminder that the team is committed to continually improving and refining their skills to achieve success.
