In the Zero Conditions podcast, Kuti shared stories about his childhood, saying that he was his dad’s “favorite person in the world.” He acknowledged that his siblings might have a different opinion, stating that they might say their father was a “terrible dad.” However, Kuti emphasized that to him, his father was an amazing parent.

The singer boasts that his childhood experiences have had a lasting impact, stating that he has never done laundry in his life. “You don’t know how spoilt I was growing up. Till now, I have never done laundry in my life. I don’t know how to wash anything. I’m not bragging,” he said.
