Tamar Braxton Accuses Ex-BF JR Robinson of Using Her Credit Card on Another Woman
In a recent social media post, Tamar Braxton claimed that her ex-boyfriend JR Robinson used her credit card to pay for a night at a Four Seasons hotel in New Orleans. Robinson, however, disputes Braxton’s allegations, stating that it was simply a card mix-up.
According to Braxton, she took to her Instagram Live on September 4 to call out Robinson for allegedly pursuing a 25-year-old woman she referred to as a "tramp." Braxton revealed alleged receipts of an unauthorized charge on her card, showing a transaction dated August 30 for $1,151.26. When confronted by Braxton, Robinson allegedly gave her attitude and reiterated that they have an "understanding as friends."
Robinson, who has been single for six months, claimed that he was in town for a funeral and used Braxton’s card in error due to their cards ending in the same three digits. He also stated that the hotel had already resolved the card mishap before Braxton got involved.
The woman who Braxton accused Robinson of being with spoke out in the comments section, saying that there is no truth to the allegations and that Braxton is spreading false information. Robinson also warned Braxton that she could face "defamation potential" for revealing the woman’s Instagram handle.
In a statement, Robinson claimed that he is focused on repairing his friendship with Braxton, but their relationship is officially "done." Braxton, on the other hand, expressed her desire to move on from the situation and start anew.
The drama between Braxton and Robinson is the latest in a series of public feuds between the two, who have had an on-again, off-again relationship over the years.
