Nollywood Actress Warns Against Brazilian Butt Lift Surgery, Says Women Risking Lives Unnecessarily

Nigerian actress Jumoke George has cautioned women against undergoing Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) surgery, warning that they are risking their lives unnecessarily. Her statement comes after the Lagos State Police Command arrested a medical doctor, Idara Bassey, in connection with the death of a 36-year-old woman identified as Abiola, during a butt enlargement surgery.

In a post on her Instagram page, Jumoke expressed concern about the increasing trend of women undergoing BBL surgery, citing the risks involved. “Women, what is the color of our problem? Because if I say I understand I am lying,” she wrote. “The scripture says every creature was made in the image of God the most high. You females looking at me whose image do you think you were created? Are you telling God that He does not know what He was doing? God is perfect. What then are we looking for? God has given some long life but they intentionally cut off their lives.”

Jumoke’s statement highlights the risks associated with BBL surgery, which can have serious complications, including death. The incident in Lagos serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of undergoing elective surgery without proper consultation and caution.

The increasing trend of BBL surgery among women has raised concerns about the motivations behind such procedures. Jumoke’s statement suggests that some women may be seeking to alter their physical appearance in order to conform to societal beauty standards, rather than embracing their natural bodies.

The incident in Lagos serves as a wake-up call for women to prioritize their health and well-being, and to think carefully before undergoing elective surgery. It is essential that women seek proper consultation and advice before making any decisions about their bodies, and that they prioritize their health and safety above all else.

As Jumoke’s statement emphasizes, it is essential to recognize that every human being is created in the image of God, and that it is important to appreciate and respect our natural bodies. The increasing trend of BBL surgery is a reflection of the pressure to conform to societal beauty standards, and it is essential that women prioritize their health and well-being above all else.
