Pepsi Revives Iconic “We Will Rock You” Ad with Megan Thee Stallion and Travis Kelce

Pepsi has brought back its iconic “We Will Rock You” ad, this time featuring rapper Megan Thee Stallion and Kansas City Chiefs’ star tight end Travis Kelce. The three-minute commercial, titled “Make Your Gameday Epic,” is set in a Roman Empire stadium where Megan Thee Stallion watches a Spartan match of the Super Bowl winners from her throne.

Joining Kelce in the commercial are NFL players Josh Allen, Derrick Henry, and Justin Jefferson, as well as White Lotus actor Jake Lacy and Fargo star Lamorne Morris. The ad is inspired by the upcoming Gladiator II film and features the highly recognized Queen song “We Will Rock You,” just like the iconic 2004 commercial that starred Beyoncé, Britney Spears, and Pink.

The connection between the two commercials was made by many fans immediately, and it has met with mixed reactions. While some viewers have applauded the commercial and thought it was a touchdown, others have disagreed with the company’s choice of remaking the video. One commenter under the YouTube video even stated, “I’m switching to Coca-Cola.”

The new commercial is a recreation of the classic ad, but with a modern twist. It brings together a diverse group of celebrities and athletes to showcase the excitement and energy of sports and entertainment. With its catchy music and impressive visuals, the commercial is sure to get viewers pumped up and ready for the big game.

Overall, Pepsi’s revival of its iconic “We Will Rock You” ad is a bold move that is sure to generate buzz and attention. Whether you love the commercial or hate it, it’s undeniable that it’s a memorable and engaging piece of advertising that will be talked about for weeks to come.
