Tinubu’s Lavish Spending Killing Nigeria’s Economy

Nigeria’s Economy Under Fire: Primate Ayodele Slams Tinubu’s Administration Over Lavish Spending

In a scathing critique, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has accused President Bola Tinubu’s administration of destroying and killing Nigeria’s economy through lavish spending. In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the clergyman expressed his disappointment and concern over the government’s attitude towards the country’s economic woes.

According to Primate Ayodele, the administration’s unnecessary spending is not only failing to improve the economy but is, in fact, exacerbating the country’s financial troubles. He questioned whether government officials are aware of the economic situation, saying that if they are, they should not be engaging in such reckless spending.

"It’s hard to understand why the government is buying unnecessary things at this critical time," Primate Ayodele said. "Sometimes I wonder if these government officials don’t know what is going on. If they do, the government shouldn’t be doing these things."

The cleric also expressed his doubts about the country’s economic prospects, stating that he does not see the economy improving in the near future. He urged the government to cut costs and adopt more sustainable economic policies to get the country back on track.

"Nigeria is in real trouble, and the government is acting like it doesn’t care," Primate Ayodele warned. "I still don’t see our economy smiling in 2025 if the government doesn’t change its ways."

The criticism comes at a time when Nigeria is struggling to recover from a severe economic downturn, with many experts warning of a prolonged recession. The government has been under pressure to address the country’s economic woes, but its efforts have been met with skepticism by many Nigerians.

As the country’s economy continues to falter, Primate Ayodele’s words serve as a stark reminder of the urgent need for the government to take decisive action to address the country’s economic challenges.
