OnePlus 13 to Launch in China with Powerful Flagship Chipset and Fast Charging
OnePlus is set to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 13, in China next month, according to the company’s China President Louis Lee. The device will be powered by the latest generation of flagship chipsets, which is rumored to be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor.
In a post on Weibo, Lee revealed that the OnePlus 13 will debut in China "next month", hinting at an October launch. The official also confirmed that the handset will be equipped with the "latest generation" flagship chipset, which is expected to deliver impressive performance.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor is claimed to have a self-developed dual-core architecture, designed by a team that previously developed PC chips. This chip, combined with OnePlus’s "exclusive" technology, is expected to achieve a graphical performance of up to 120 frames per second (fps) in graphic-intensive games like Genshin Impact.
The OnePlus 13 is also rumored to feature a 120Hz flat display with a 2K resolution and curved edges. In terms of optics, the device may sport a 50-megapixel camera with an ultra-wide lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom capability. The handset is expected to be backed by a 6,000mAh battery with support for 100W (wired) and 50W (wireless) fast charging.
This development corroborates a previous leak by tipster Digital Chat Station, which suggested that the OnePlus 13 may debut in China in the last week of October or the first week of November.
The OnePlus 13 is expected to be a major player in the flagship smartphone market, with its powerful chipset and fast charging capabilities making it an attractive option for gamers and power users.
