Breaking News: Apple Intelligence Features to Roll Out on iOS 18.1 Update

Apple’s "It’s Glowtime" event has concluded, and the tech giant has made some exciting announcements. As part of its Apple Intelligence features, Apple has announced that its highly-anticipated AI features will be available on iOS 18.1 update, which is set to roll out later this month. These features will also be available on iPadOS 18.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.1.

Key Features

The new Apple Intelligence features include:

1. Writing Tools: AI-powered writing tools will be available across different Apple apps, offering features like text summarization, text generation, and more.
2. Notification Summarization: Apple Intelligence will prioritize notifications, summarizing and highlighting important messages to help users stay on top of their tasks.
3. Clean Up in Images: Users can remove unwanted objects or people from images using AI, which can also fill in the background.

7. Private Cloud Compute: Apple claims that user data remains on the server only until it is returned to the device and "no user data is retained in any form after the response is returned."

Language Support

The first set of features will be available in US English. Localized English languages will be added in December, and support for more languages like Chinese, Spanish, French, and Japanese will be added next year.

Future Updates

In addition to the above-mentioned features, Apple has announced that it will roll out more Apple Intelligence features in future updates. These include:

1. ChatGPT Integration: ChatGPT, the chatbot by OpenAI, will be integrated with Siri and the systemwide Writing Tools, offering web-related queries and answering complex questions.

3. Genmoji: Apple Intelligence will release Genjomi, a visual tool that can turn a rough sketch into a related image, allowing users to upload images and turn them into artistic interpretations.
4. Visual Intelligence: Users can activate AI in the Camera Control button to find more information about captured images, book reservations or tickets, and more.
