Gospel Music Takes Center Stage for Sensational Bamidele After Near-Fatal Car Accident
In a surprising turn of events, Olumabusidele Adeeko, popularly known as Sensational Bamidele, has revealed that a car accident he was involved in two years ago prompted him to shift his focus from singing for politicians to gospel music. During an interview with Channels Television’s Morning Brief, Adeeko shared his journey and the challenges he faced in the aftermath of the accident.
The gospel artist explained that the incident forced him to re-evaluate his priorities and take a step back from his political singing career. “After some time when, I had a little challenge last two years. I decided to leave most of this political singing and face ministry. I went back to restrategise my artistry, I decided to stay away from campaigns, political rallies and all of that and I did,” he said.
Adeeko, who has stopped singing praise songs for politicians, is now fully committed to his gospel ministry. He revealed that he has not been involved in political singing for a long time, citing the need to give himself space and focus on his artistry. “I am a praise singer and I go to churches, Speaking on his time as a political singer, he explained that he sang based on the happenings in the society,” he said.
The gospel artist expressed his disappointment at the attention his accident received, noting that it garnered more attention than he has received for his positive work. “When that incident occurred I somersaulted over 9 times, we lost 3 lives but those in my cars were alive, then people knew that this was God’s son. I stand to give God the glory for preserving my life,” he added.
Adeeko’s decision to prioritize his gospel ministry is a testament to his faith and commitment to spreading the message of hope and redemption through his music. As he continues to share his story and inspire others, it is clear that his journey is one of redemption and purpose.
