Cardi B Welcomes Newborn Daughter, Shares First Photos

American rapper Cardi B has finally revealed her new bundle of joy to the world, sharing a series of photos and videos on social media. The proud mother, who gave birth to her youngest daughter on September 7, captioned the post with a heartfelt message, saying “The prettiest lil thing.”

The photos showcase Cardi breastfeeding, pushing in the delivery room, and an appearance from her husband, Offset, with whom she is divorcing. The couple, who married in 2017, also shares a daughter, Kulture, and son, Wave.

This comes after PageSix reported earlier this month that Cardi filed divorce papers on July 31, citing reasons beyond just Offset’s alleged infidelity with Big PrettyRedz, with whom he was spotted in July. Offset took to his Instagram to deny any romantic involvement, stating “Shawty ain’t my shawty.”

PrettyRedz, the alleged ex, also denied any relationship with Offset on her Instagram, urging respect for her late husband. The couple’s tumultuous relationship dates back to 2018, with Cardi filing for divorce in September 2020 only to reconcile within a month. They announced a separation again in December 2023, with Cardi admitting to hooking up with Offset on New Year’s Eve.

Despite their ongoing divorce proceedings, Cardi and Offset appear to be co-parenting their children, with the couple spotted taking Kulture to Disneyland Paris last month. The status of their divorce remains unclear, but for now, they seem to be enjoying the new addition to their family.
