Nollywood Actor’s Kidnapping Past Exposed: Association Denies Involvement

In a shocking development, the Association of Movie Practitioners (AMPRAC) has come forward to deny claims that Henry Odenigbo, a Nollywood actor and movie producer who was killed alongside six others during a kidnapping attempt in Lagos, was a registered member of the organization.

According to reports, the suspects, including Odenigbo, had planned to kidnap a businessman in Lagos, but were ambushed and killed by police operatives on July 4.

Reacting to the incident, AMPRAC President Ifeanyi Azodo addressed journalists in Enugu, stating that checks on the association’s database revealed that Odenigbo was never a member. He emphasized that people of questionable character were never admitted into the association and that the organization has a rigorous screening process to ensure that only reputable individuals join its ranks.

"We have evidence that will prove that Odenigbo was never a member of AMPRAC," Azodo said. "We will willingly furnish you with our data base, which shows that we have never had such a person registered under our association."

The AMPRAC President also highlighted the importance of investigating characters who apply to join the association, saying that the organization takes its position as role models in society seriously and ensures that its members maintain a high level of integrity.

In conclusion, the AMPRAC’s denial of Odenigbo’s membership has shed light on the actor’s alleged involvement in a kidnapping attempt, which ultimately led to his tragic demise. The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of accountability and the impact that one’s actions can have on their reputation and the community.
