Edo Governorship Elections: President Tinubu Calls for Peace and Civility

In the lead-up to the upcoming Edo State governorship elections, scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued a clarion call for all stakeholders to conduct themselves peacefully and respectfully. In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the president implored governorship candidates, political parties, and supporters to respect the democratic process and the people’s will.
