Edo State’s New Leader Congratulated on a Fair and Free Election Victory

In a recent announcement, Senator Ahmad Lawan, President of the Ninth Senate, extended his heartiest congratulations to Monday Okpebholo, the newly elected Governor of Edo State, following his victory in the country’s latest gubernatorial elections. Lawan’s endorsement was made possible after an examination of the polls and its results revealed that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) leader secured a landslide win over his opponents.

As quoted in his official statement on Monday, Senator Lawan acknowledged the successful election saying, “The peaceful and orderly process is a testament to the democratic maturity of our nation.
