Nigerian Music Star Banky W Pursues Master’s Degree in the US
Banky W, a renowned Nigerian R&B star, has made a significant move with his family, relocating to the United States. The Empire Mates Entertainment boss announced the decision on Instagram, revealing that he will be pursuing a Master’s degree in Policy Management at Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
In his post, Banky W shared a photo of himself, his wife, Adesua Etomi-Wellington, and their child at the airport, asking his followers to wish them well as they embark on this new chapter. The 43-year-old artiste, who was born in the US and married Adesua in 2017, will spend the next year studying at Georgetown University.
Adesua, a renowned actress, reacted to her husband’s post, writing "Home is wherever you are." The couple’s comments section was filled with well-wishes from popular celebrities and fans, including Darey Art Alade, who wrote "Go with God cuz," and Rita Dominic, who said "Awww. It’s the way your son is looking up to you both! God guide, protect you all."
