BREAKING: Falz and Family Hit with Ultimatum Over Bobrisky Allegations
In a shocking turn of events, the legal team of Nigerian rapper Falz has been served with an ultimatum by VeryDarkMan, the individual who sparked a social media frenzy by alleging that Falz and his father, renowned Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) Femi Falana, were involved in the ordeal of cross-dresser Bobrisky.
The ultimatum, which was posted on Falz’s Instagram on September 25, 2024, demands that VeryDarkMan’s statement, which implicated Falz and his father in Bobrisky’s legal troubles, be retracted and an apology be issued within 24 hours.
The legal document, which was posted to Falz’s Instagram, reads in part: "The entire publication was a vicious, wicked and reckless ploy to impugn the reputation of our client and lower him in the estimation of right-thinking members of the public. We, therefore, demand an immediate retraction of the offensive and derogatory publication as well as an apology prominently published on all the platforms to which you have disseminated it without any justification whatsoever."
The document also warns that if the demands are not met, VeryDarkMan will proceed with legal action against Falz, seeking monetary damages for the alleged defamatory statements.
This development comes after Bobrisky alleged in a viral audio that some unnamed EFCC officers collected ₦15 million from him to drop money laundering charges against him. He also claimed that a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and his son assisted in getting the charges dropped and keeping him out of prison.
VeryDarkMan later alleged that Falz and his father were the ones behind Bobrisky’s ordeal, sparking a variety of reactions across social media. Falz has since denied any involvement in the matter.
The situation is now taking a dramatic turn, with VeryDarkMan’s legal team issuing an ultimatum to Falz and his family. It remains to be seen how this will play out and what consequences Falz may face if the demands are not met.
