Record-Breaking Photographer Captures 897 Pictures in 60 Minutes

In a remarkable feat, Yobe-based photographer Saidu Abdulrahman has set a new record by capturing 897 pictures in just 60 minutes. This impressive achievement surpasses the existing Guinness World Record of 500 pictures taken in one hour. The record-breaking attempt took place on Wednesday in Potiskum Local Government Area of Yobe State, in the presence of government officials, students, and well-wishers.

Abdulrahman, 28, expressed his optimism about receiving formal recognition from the Guinness World Record. According to him, the feat was achieved after 12 months of rigorous preparation. "I snapped 897 pictures in one hour, surpassing our target of 600 in spite of numerous challenges," he said.

The photographer’s incredible achievement has put Yobe State on the global map, showcasing the state’s potential and talent. Abdulrahman is poised to etch his name in the Guinness World Record, cementing Yobe’s presence on the international stage.
