Realme UI 6.0 Update Launched in China, Speculated to Debut Around Same Time as ColorOS 15
Realme, a popular smartphone manufacturer, has announced the impending launch of Realme UI 6.0 update in China next month, according to a company official’s post on Weibo, a Chinese social media platform. The update is expected to be based on ColorOS 15 for Oppo and OnePlus devices, which is set to debut in China on October 17. Realme UI 6.0 is anticipated to bring similar features, including several AI-powered ones, to the company’s smartphones.
One of the key features that Realme recently rolled out for its performance-focused smartphone, Realme GT 6, in India includes six AI features, namely Magic Compose, AI Ultra Clarity, AI night mode, and AI Eraser 2.0. It is rumored that the upcoming update might carry similar AI-powered features, which Google debuted during its developer conference while announcing its next operating system.
The Realme UI 6.0 update is expected to introduce several notable features, including Private Space, a digital safe that allows users to hide specific applications. The update might also provide improved passkey support with single sign-in capability and the ability to save favorite split-screen combinations. Furthermore, it might offer OS-level support for app archiving/unarchiving, which would provide developers with more flexibility.
For developers, the Realme UI 6.0 update is expected to bring new capabilities, allowing them to further fine-tune the app experience and improve its performance for running on any Android release. The update also includes Matrix44 and other canvas drawing capabilities, enabling developers to manipulate the canvas in 3D and create complex shapes by intersecting different shaders.
Lastly, there is speculation that Android 15 might utilize Bluetooth LE Audio technology to enhance smartphone spatial audio experience. No official confirmation has been given by Google regarding this.
The Realme UI 6.0 update will be launched in China, and while no exact date has been announced, speculation suggests it will debut around the same time as ColorOS 15. Keep an eye on our blog for further updates on Realme UI 6.0 and its expected features.
