Portable Urges Bobrisky to Repent and Seek Forgiveness

Nigerian Musician Portable Urges Bobrisky to Seek Forgiveness and Redemption Amidst Corruption Allegations

In a shocking turn of events, Nigerian musician Portable has advised embattled crossdresser Bobrisky to seek forgiveness and reconsider his lifestyle amidst ongoing controversy surrounding corruption allegations. The call for redemption comes after Bobrisky revealed he was contemplating suicide following a N15 million bribery allegation involving him and Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) officers.

The controversy began when popular social media critic VeryDarkMan shared a leaked audio of Bobrisky narrating his experience during his four-month jail term. In the audio, Bobrisky alleged that singer Falz contacted him about obtaining a presidential pardon for him through his father, Femi Falana. The viral audio sparked public outrage and calls for an investigation into alleged corruption within the EFCC and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).

In response to the controversy, Bobrisky took to social media to share his struggles with suicidal thoughts. Portable, reacting to the suicidal post, urged Bobrisky not to consider suicide but instead to seek forgiveness and embark on a path of redemption. In a video shared on Instagram, Portable said, "Bobrisky, life is risky. God doesn’t want sinners to die. Tell him to repent. If you die as a sinner, you are going to hell. Beg God to forgive you."

Portable emphasized that all Bobrisky needs to do is ask God for forgiveness of his sins, stating that if he repents, he will enjoy the world. Bobrisky was previously sentenced to four months in prison on April 12, 2024, for his involvement in the abuse of the Nigerian currency, the naira.

This development highlights the ongoing struggle for redemption and forgiveness in the face of controversy and corruption allegations. As the world watches, Bobrisky’s next move will be closely monitored, and it remains to be seen whether he will heed Portable’s advice and seek a path of redemption.
