President Bola Tinubu has extended his deepest condolences to Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom state on the sudden passing of his wife, Pastor Patience Umo Eno. According to a press statement released by the state Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, the First Lady died on September 26, 2024, at a hospital, surrounded by her family.
In a statement on behalf of the Federal Government, President Tinubu commiserated with the Eno family, the government, and the people of Akwa Ibom state, expressing his sadness at the loss of a dedicated first lady who had supported her husband’s administration.
