Tinubu’s Cabinet Reshuffle: VeryDarkMan Demands Power Minister’s Removal

Cabinet Reshuffling: Social Critic Calls for Minister’s Removal

As President Bola Tinubu prepares to reshuffle his cabinet, a popular social critic, Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan or VDM, has made a bold call for the removal of the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu.

According to VDM, the segregation surrounding the power supply in Nigeria, classified into Band A, Band B, and Band C, makes no sense. He wondered why some Nigerians can enjoy power supply for 20 hours a day, while others are left without it.

In a video clip on his Facebook page, VDM pleaded with the president to spare performing ministers, but emphasized that the Minister of Power must be removed. He asked, "What is the reason for this segregation? Are you trying to say that poor people do not have access to light? Is it that the poor people are not supposed to use light for 24 hours? It makes no sense because we are all Nigerians."

The Nigerian government has announced plans to reshuffle its cabinet, with some ministers expected to be removed and others reassigned. The exact extent of the changes is not yet clear, but it is expected to have a significant impact on the country’s governance.

VDM’s call for the removal of the Minister of Power has sparked debate among Nigerians, with many weighing in on the issue on social media. The criticism has also raised questions about the government’s handling of the country’s power supply, which has long been a major challenge.

The reshuffling of the cabinet is expected to be an important step in addressing some of the country’s major challenges, including power supply, corruption, and economic development. As the president considers the changes, it remains to be seen which ministers will be removed or reassigned, and whether the moves will have a positive impact on the country.
