Digital Solution Company Globacom Partners with Oyo State to Foster Tertiary Education

A recent meeting between Globacom, a leading digital solutions company, and representatives from private tertiary institutions in Oyo State has paved the way for a potential partnership aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of education in the region. The Telecoms giant is eager to collaborate with the institutions in various digital solutions, from connectivity services to smart learning and e-governance.

During the meeting, Globacom’s Head of Enterprise Business, Mr. Zakari Usman, emphasized the importance of embracing digital solutions to enhance productivity, security, and operational efficiency within the institutions. He emphasized that the digital solutions will enable the easy adoption of the Internet in the curriculum, leading to a more user-friendly, personalized learning experience.

Moreover, Enterprise Business Head for the West Region, Globacom, Mr. Adeniyi Odejobi, highlighted the diversity of solutions offered by Globacom, including connectivity services, data vending, and security surveillance. He ensured that the solutions will help to increase administrative effectiveness, improve service delivery, and ease of internet connectivity.

According to Odejobi, Globacom’s educational solutions are instrumental in realizing the goal of integrating the Internet into schools’ curriculum, resulting in a better user interface, personalized learning paths, and comprehensive reporting and analytics, among other benefits.

On his part, Oyo State Commissioner for Education, Prof. Waheed Adelabu, thanked Globacom for its interest in promoting education in Oyo State and expressed optimism that the partnership will bring about substantial improvements in education practices within the state.
