Vee Slams VDM Supporters, Says They Need Mental Evaluation

Vee’s Outspoken Stance: Nigeria’s Politics and Controversial Activist Spark Controversy

In a recent video message shared on her TikTok page, Big Brother Naija reality star Victoria Iye, popularly known as Vee, expressed her disapproval of supporters of President Bola Tinubu’s administration and controversial self-styled activist VeryDarkMan, aka VDM. She stated that these individuals need mental evaluation and cannot be taken seriously.

Vee’s sentiments came as no surprise, as she has been vocal about her discontent with the current state of Nigeria’s government. She believes that certain individuals defending the government are not holding people accountable and are instead enabling its alleged wrongdoings.

According to Vee, nobody should defend the government, and anybody doing so requires mental evaluation. She emphasized that Nigerians should not be swayed by misinformation and that they should question the government’s actions. Vee also criticized supporters of VDM, questioning his achievements and purpose.

The controversy surrounding Vee’s statements has garnered attention, especially with regards to her disagreement with Femi Falana and rapper Falz over VDM’s publication against them. Media Talk Africa reports that Femi Falana and rapper Falz gave VDM a 24-hour ultimatum to retract his publication, alleging that VDM played a role in getting Bobrisky a soft landing during his jail sentence.

However, VDM has denied defaming Chief Falana and rapper Falz. In response to his refusal to retract the publication, Femi Falana’s daughter, Folakemi Falana, an entertainment lawyer and sister to Falz, threatened legal action against VDM.

As the situation continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how Vee’s comments will be received by her fans and the general public. While her statements may be controversial, they highlight the need for Nigerians to critically examine the actions of their leaders and to question the status quo.
