Motorola ThinkPhone 25 Launched in Select Global Markets: A Business-Focused Smartphone with Advanced Features
In a move to cater to the growing demand for business-focused smartphones, Motorola has launched its ThinkPhone 25 in select global markets. This latest device from the company comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The ThinkPhone 25 features a ThinkPad-style design and boasts a 6.36-inch screen.
One of the standout features of the ThinkPhone 25 is its triple rear camera unit, led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C primary sensor with quad PDAF. The camera setup is also accompanied by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera and a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with up to 3x optical zoom. On the front, the phone features a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
The ThinkPhone 25 also boasts advanced connectivity options, including 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The phone has an IP68-rated build and MIL-STD 810H certification, ensuring that it can withstand rough handling.
In terms of battery life, the ThinkPhone 25 packs a 4,310mAh battery that supports 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. The battery is said to deliver up to 34 hours of battery life on a single charge.
The ThinkPhone 25 also comes with advanced security features, including Motorola’s ThinkShield for business users. The phone is assured to receive five years of Android OS updates and security maintenance releases into 2029.
In a statement, Motorola said that the ThinkPhone 25 is designed to meet the needs of business professionals who require a reliable and advanced smartphone. The ThinkPhone 25 is currently listed on Motorola’s European website, but pricing details have not been revealed. The phone is available in Carbon Black color and a single 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration.
