Sexual Misconduct Allegations Against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs: 120 Accusers Come Forward
Jailed hip-hop artist Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is facing a mounting legal crisis as 120 people have come forward with allegations of sexual misconduct against him. The accusations were announced by Houston attorney Tony Buzbee, who is representing the accusers, including 60 males and 60 females.
According to Buzbee, the alleged victims identify as African-American (62%), white (30%), and Hispanic or Asian (8%). The abuse is said to have taken place over a period of more than 25 years, from 1991 to 2024, with most incidents occurring at parties in New York, California, and Florida.
The alleged victims claim they were given drinks laced with drugs, and some were coerced into sexual activities at auditions, with the promise of being made a star. One individual alleged he was just 9 years old when he was abused.
Combs, 54, has been locked up at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since pleading not guilty to federal charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. His attorney, Erica Wolff, has denied the allegations, stating that Combs "cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus."
Combs is a renowned music executive, producer, and performer, having won three Grammys and worked with top artists in the hip-hop industry. He has also founded several successful companies, including Bad Boy Records, Sean John, and Revolt TV.
Buzbee’s firm has received over 3,280 allegations of sexual misconduct, with many still being reviewed. Some of the accusers have spoken with the FBI, and lawsuits are expected to be filed within the next month, primarily in New York and Los Angeles.
This development comes as Combs is already facing legal troubles, with other alleged victims having filed lawsuits against him, including allegations of sexual assault. His attorney has stated that Combs is innocent and will fight to clear his name.
The allegations against Combs have sent shockwaves through the music industry, with many calling for accountability and justice for the alleged victims.
