According to the Police Command in Lagos state, the incident occurred on Friday at around 1:00 pm in Amazing Grace Estate, Elepe, in the Ikorodu area of the state. The police received a distress call about a domestic scuffle between the couple, which led to the husband stabbing his wife to death.

He revealed that the police stormed the scene, where they found the lifeless body of the wife lying on the floor with wounds on her abdominal part.
