Controversial Crossdresser Bobrisky Reveals Lucrative Social Media Influencing Business

Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky, has sparked controversy by revealing that he earns up to $100,000 for influencing on social media platforms. In a recorded voice call with an unknown male contact, Bobrisky claimed that his source of wealth is genuine, with social media influencing being one of the primary sources.

The call recording, posted by social media influencer Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, on October 7, 2024, revealed that Bobrisky had access to his mobile phone while in custody after being convicted of mutilating the naira in April and sentenced to six months in jail.

According to the recording, Bobrisky stated that he charges a significant amount of money for influencing, saying, “All the money I have is genuine and the sources are like most of my influencing [sic], like that day I called you that one woman wanted to pay me £10,000, you know I told you that it’s for influencing. So, people don’t know how I charge a lot of money for influencing but I made them understand I charge as far as $100,000 to influence.”

The crossdresser also shared his experiences with the male contact, saying that he had been receiving numerous messages but had not been responding due to concerns about his phone being discovered. He emphasized the importance of trust, stating, “So if you think you cannot do it, all fingers are equal. Some others do it and trust me, God blessed the hustle. Obviously, I met a very terrible judge who wasn’t fair at all.”

This revelation has sparked debate about the legitimacy of Bobrisky’s claims and the potential impact of social media influencing on the entertainment industry. As the world continues to grapple with the power of social media, Bobrisky’s statement has raised questions about the true value of online influence and the extent to which celebrities are willing to go to maintain their public image.
