Bobrisky’s Pardon Bid: Cross-Dresser Claims to Have Paid N5 Million to SAN for Federal Government Amnesty

A recent audio leak has sparked controversy in Nigeria, with cross-dresser Idris Olanrewaju Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, claiming to have paid N5 million upfront to an unnamed Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) to secure a Federal Government pardon for money laundering charges brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

According to the audio recording, which was leaked by social media influencer Martins Otse aka VeryDarkMan (VDM) on October 7, 2024, Bobrisky claimed that the SAN asked for N10 million, but he was unable to raise the full amount due to his account being frozen by the EFCC. The cross-dresser allegedly said that he would have transferred the funds if his account were not frozen.

In the audio, Bobrisky also claimed that his godfather provided him with N5 million, which was sent to the SAN two weeks prior. He stated that the pardon request has already been submitted. The audio was recorded on May 16, 2024.

The development comes after Senior Advocate of Nigeria Femi Falana denied knowing Bobrisky, stating that he never had any business with the cross-dresser and that Bobrisky only spoke to his son, Folarin Falana aka Falz.

Bobrisky’s pardon bid has raised questions about the legitimacy of his claims and the involvement of the SAN in the matter. The EFCC has not commented on the issue, and it remains unclear whether the pardon request has been approved or rejected.

As the controversy surrounding Bobrisky’s pardon bid continues to unfold, it is essential to monitor the situation and gather more information to determine the accuracy of his claims and the potential consequences for the cross-dresser and those involved.
