Mohbad’s Childhood Friend Threatens Legal Action Against Singer’s Mother Over Defamation Claims

Ibrahim Owodunni, popularly known as Primeboy, has issued a stern warning to late singer Mohbad’s mother, Abosede Adeyemo-Aloba, over alleged defamation claims. In a statement signed by his lawyer, Akinpelu Ogunbona, Primeboy accused Mohbad’s mother of making false statements during an interview, which have damaged his reputation and career.

According to the statement, Mohbad’s mother claimed that Primeboy and her son had a tumultuous relationship, with frequent altercations and allegations of neglect. Primeboy vehemently denied these claims, stating that they are baseless and intended to harm his reputation. The singer’s mother was also accused of advising Primeboy to flee the country after Mohbad’s death, allegedly to avoid suspicion surrounding the singer’s mysterious demise.

In a letter shared on Instagram, Primeboy gave Mohbad’s mother seven days to retract her statements and apologize for the harm caused. Failure to do so, he threatened to take legal action. The incident has sparked concern among fans and well-wishers around the world, who are eager to see the truth behind the tragic events surrounding Mohbad’s death.

Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, and was buried the following day. However, on September 21, 2023, his body was exhumed for autopsy by the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, LASUTH, amid ongoing investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death.

As the dispute between Primeboy and Mohbad’s mother continues to unfold, fans and industry observers are left wondering what truly happened to the talented singer. One thing is clear, however: Primeboy is determined to clear his name and protect his reputation, and he is willing to take legal action to achieve that goal.
