Lagos Bouncer Detained for Allegedly Stabbing Man to Death

In a shocking incident, a bouncer, Kingsley Oti, has been detained by the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly stabbing a yet-to-be identified man to death. The incident occurred on Monday at 3:30 p.m. at Ago-Palace Way in the Okota area of the state.

According to the police spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the manager of the club reported the case to the police, stating that a suspected hoodlum was allegedly stabbed by the club’s bouncer during an altercation at the car park. The victim became unconscious and was rushed to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, where he was confirmed dead by the doctor on duty.

The police stormed the scene of the crime and apprehended the suspect, who is currently being held in detention. An investigation is ongoing to unravel the circumstances surrounding the incident. The police have also visited the hospital where the corpse was inspected and photographs were taken. The body has been removed and deposited at the Mainland General Hospital Morgue in Yaba for autopsy.
