No Conflict Between Davido and Wizkid, Singer Insists
In a recent interview on BBC radio, Nigerian music star Davido has clarified that there is no conflict between him and fellow musician Wizkid. The confession comes as Davido’s new album, Timeless, is set to drop in 2023. According to the artist, the hangout with Wizkid was a deliberate move to show fans that the two celebrities are on good terms and that the album launch would be drama-free.
In the interview, Davido revealed that he reached out to one of his key fans, Tomiwa, to ask him to avoid engaging in fights with Wizkid’s supporters, known as FC. “I called him and I said, ‘Look, my album is coming out on Thursday. Please leave all these Wizkid fans. Please don’t fight anybody,'” Davido narrated. He also mentioned that he and Wizkid had a positive meeting a couple of days prior, and he wanted to ensure a smooth album launch.
This development comes as a relief to fans who have been following the alleged feud between the two superstars. However, not everyone is convinced, with some fans still expressing skepticism about the true nature of their relationship.
