Spotify’s Wrapped 2024: Don’t Worry, You Can Still Add to Your Playlist

As the year draws to a close, music lovers are eagerly anticipating Spotify Wrapped 2024. With only a few weeks left until the release of the highly-anticipated personalized recap of your music streaming habits, you may be wondering: can I still add more tracks to my playlist before it’s too late?

Tucked away in the past was the notion that Wrapped would stop tracking on Halloween, leaving November and December without a statistical record. However, Spotify officially refuted this claim in 2022. According to a now-deleted tweet by Pop Cave, the music giant responded with a straightforward statement: “The only thing that we end on Halloween is eating candy corn. Stream (and snack) all through the year and we will see you in Wrapped season.”

Despite this, Spotify has never revealed the exact date Wrapped stops tracking. At a 2022 press preview, Spotify’s Vice President of Product Development, Babar Zafar, explained, “The Wrapped personalized experience covers streaming for 2022, so beginning in January and ending a few weeks prior to the launch on November 30. We aim to leave the cut-off date as late as possible to really create a truly personalized experience for the millions of listeners around the world.”

With this information in mind, it’s clear that you still have time to add your favorite tracks to your playlist this year. So, don’t wait – keep streaming, and the results will be reflected in your Spotify Wrapped 2024.
