Nollywood Actress Omoborty Denies Snatching Daughter of Veteran Actress Lola Idije’s Husband

Popular Nigerian actress Biodun Okeowo, known professionally as Omoborty, has come forward to deny allegations that she snatched the husband of Lola Idije’s daughter. The rumors, which circulated widely on social media, suggested that Omoborty had stolen the newlywed husband from the daughter of veteran Nollywood actress, Lola Idije.

In an Instagram live session, Omoborty took to the platform to address the allegations, fiercely denying any involvement in snatching the husband. She revealed that her husband, whom she did not mention by name, has no connections to Lola Idije’s daughters, and that the two actresses were introduced through her. "My husband does not know any of Actress Lola Idije’s daughters. In fact, actress Lola and my husband spoke for the first time through me," she emphasized.

Omoborty also took the opportunity to call out her colleague, Tosin, whom she accused of spreading the rumors, and urged him to clear his name by explaining the allegations he made. "I did not snatch anyone’s husband. Tosin, they said you are the one posting sub, please come out and clear these allegations," she said, hinting that Tosin may have been the one spreading the rumors.
