In a bold statement of commitment to justice, the Abia State Commissioner of Police, CP Danladi Isa, has visited the Lokpanta cattle market in Umunneochi LGA and Eziama Nunya community in Isuikwuato LGA, following a recent report of a brazen cattle theft.

On a recent day, unidentified assailants attacked the areas, leaving one person injured and 65 cattle missing. The Commissioner’s visit was aimed at reassuring the community of the Command’s unwavering resolve to bring the perpetrators to justice. During his visit, CP Danladi Isa extended his heartfelt sympathies to the members of the community, urging them to remain calm and cooperate fully with the Police in the investigation.

"We understand the gravity of the situation and the impact it has on the community," said CP Danladi Isa. "We reassure you that we will leave no stone unturned in our pursuit of justice." He also cautioned the community against taking the law into their own hands, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with the Police.

In a significant breakthrough, the Police Command has successfully recovered 56 out of the 65 missing cattle, thanks to a collaborative effort with local guards from Seriki Hausa. According to ASP Maureen Chinaka, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), "The Command, in collaboration with local guards from Seriki Hausa, has successfully recovered 56 of the missing cattle.
