Rumours Swirl Around the Upcoming Oppo Reno 13 Pro
Just a few months after the release of the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G in India, whispers about its successor – the Oppo Reno 13 Pro – have begun to circulate on the web. According to these rumours, the upcoming Reno series phone is expected to boast an impressive 6.78-inch screen with a 1.5K resolution, as well as a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.
Tipster Digital Chat Station recently revealed the Oppo Reno 13 Pro’s specifications on Weibo, claiming that the phone will feature a 6.78-inch quad-micro-curved LTPO OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution. Additionally, it will include a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, as compared to the 2x optical zoom offered by the Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G.
When it comes to charging, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro is rumoured to support both 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Moreover, the phone is expected to offer enhanced dust and water resistance.
According to sources, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9300 chipset and house a 5,900mAh battery. Another notable feature includes Magnetic wireless charging support through a dedicated case.
The Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G, on the other hand, was launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 36,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model and Rs. 40,999 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. It features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ quad-curved AMOLED display and is powered by a custom octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy SoC. The Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G also has a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary Sony LYT600 sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra wide-angle camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor.
