After 935 days away, five-time WWE champion IYO SKY made a thrilling return to NXT, where a risky move almost led to a severe injury. Despite the scare, SKY emerged unscathed and kept the match’s momentum going.

In this week’s showdown, former NXT and WWE Women’s Champion SKY teamed up with Kairi Sane to face The Meta-Four’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. While SKY’s last NXT appearance was in April 2022, Sane hadn’t competed there since March this year. The duo, part of the Damage CTRL faction, showcased resilience despite their opponents’ strength advantage.

Halfway through the match, a botched tag led to SKY falling from the top rope. Yet, she skillfully rolled to the canvas and quickly regained control, landing a solid punch to her opponent. Her performance maintained the crowd’s excitement, but outside interference from WWE SmackDown’s Piper Niven and Chelsea Green ultimately thwarted Damage CTRL’s victory.

With this encounter intensifying the rivalry, fans are left wondering what’s next for SKY and Sane in their pursuit of NXT dominance.
