FIRS Opens Recruitment for NYSC Members Set to Complete Service by Year-End

Serving NYSC members can apply - FIRS gives update on recruitment exercise

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has invited National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members nearing the end of their service to apply for its ongoing recruitment drive. In a statement posted on its official X (formerly Twitter) account on Friday, FIRS specified that corps members set to pass out by December 31, 2024, are eligible to apply.

The recruitment application deadline is November 14, 2024. Additionally, the service noted that membership with the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) would be an added advantage for interested candidates.

This recruitment campaign follows FIRS’s recent nationwide call for tax officers, aiming to strengthen its workforce in tax administration and compliance across Nigeria.
