WWE Women’s Tag Team Title Race Intensifies as Former Champion Returns to NXT Amid Rivalries

The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship competition continues to heat up, with new developments and intense rivalries stirring up the action. A former WWE Women’s Champion recently made her return to NXT, only to face a sudden attack by Piper Niven, apparently under orders from Chelsea Green.

The title picture currently features fierce competitors such as Damage CTRL, Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson, and the team of Chelsea Green & Piper Niven. Earlier in October, IYO SKY and Kairi Sane had a shot at the tag titles on WWE RAW, but Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson disrupted the match, costing them the opportunity.

Lash Legend took on Piper Niven on WWE SmackDown on October 18, 2024, and emerged victorious. This rivalry continued to escalate as Legend and Jackson appeared on RAW to interfere in a Damage CTRL match, leading to a disqualification.

Damage CTRL faced off against Legend and Jackson on NXT to settle the score. In a high-stakes match, Piper Niven intervened by pulling Jackson out of the ring, causing a disqualification. Chelsea Green soon followed, attacking Legend as tensions soared.

The showdown left both Green and Niven standing tall alongside IYO SKY and Kairi Sane, intensifying the intrigue around which team will next challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Fans are eagerly watching to see who will claim the title shot as the championship race becomes more competitive by the day.
