Superbon is focused on getting into peak condition as he prepares to face fellow Thai kickboxing star Tawanchai PK Saenchai in a highly anticipated world title clash. The ONE interim featherweight kickboxing champion aims to capture the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title when he meets Tawanchai at ONE 170 on January 24, 2025, at the Impact Arena in Bangkok.
This upcoming bout marks Superbon’s second attempt to claim the title from Tawanchai, following a narrow defeat in their previous encounter at ONE Friday Fights 46. With a solid training regimen underway, Superbon shared glimpses of his preparation on Instagram, showcasing his work with renowned coach Trainer Gae at his Superbon Training Camp.
Considered one of the best kickers in the sport, Superbon demonstrated his striking prowess while Trainer Gae provided essential technical guidance. His recent success includes a spectacular knockout victory over ‘Smokin’ Jo Nattawut in September at ONE Friday Fights 81, where he executed a remarkable step-in elbow strike that left Nattawut unable to continue.
As he sets his sights on reclaiming a title, Superbon reflects on the impressive growth of his training facility. Since opening Superbon Training Camp in 2023, he has taken an active role in its development, initially handling nearly every aspect of the gym’s operations.
“My real role at the gym is almost everything because I’m the one who did it myself from the beginning, from the first day until today,” Superbon stated in an interview with ONE Championship. “I know what needs to be done in every part of the gym. The only thing I can’t do is housekeeping.”
With a dedicated team now in place to support daily operations, Superbon is able to focus more on his training while delegating responsibilities. “But these days, I don’t have that much [to do] because I have a good team to help me, whether it’s the trainers, back-office staff, or the team that makes videos for people to watch and attract them to come and learn at my gym. Right now, I just sit and watch. And I mainly train for myself because I have a good team.”
As the January showdown approaches, Superbon is determined to emerge victorious and add another prestigious title to his impressive career.
