Hermes Iyele, a former Big Brother Naija reality show star, has announced the death of his mother, Isioma Ohebian Iyele. In an emotional post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, Hermes revealed that his mother passed away on Tuesday, November 5.
Sharing a heartfelt message alongside a photo of his late mother, Hermes expressed the deep sorrow he feels over her passing. He also reached out for prayers and support, stating, βIt is with the heaviest of hearts that I would like to make public the passing of my beloved mum, Isioma Phebian Iyele, on the 5th of November 2024.β
The reality star, visibly overwhelmed, noted that he was struggling both mentally and financially with the loss. “I am doing this so I can properly start my grief and also because I currently lack the strength or capacity (mentally and finance-wise) to handle this situation,β he wrote, asking the public to pray for him and his siblings and to support them in any way possible.
