Mourinho identifies EPL club he will leave Fenerbahce to join

Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho, has identified Newcastle United as the perfect club for his Premier League comeback if Eddie Howe leaves.

Mourinho is eyeing a fifth spell in England following his stints at Chelsea (twice), Manchester United and Tottenham.

The Portuguese is monitoring developments at St James Park, as he grows more and more unhappy in Turkey.

The Guardian reports that Mourinho has contacted intermediaries and asked to be kept informed on the latest goings on behind the scenes on Tyneside.

Howe has been in charge for three years, but is not guaranteed long-term security.

Newcastle are currently 11th in the table, a long way off returning to the Champions League after Howe led them into the group stages last season.
