NPFL: Kano Pillars win away, Lobi Stars overwhelm Abia Warriors

Kano Pillars moved to fourth position in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, following a 1-0 away win against Bendel Insurance.

Rabiu Ali scored the winning goal from the penalty spot deep into stoppage time.

It was Ali’s sixth goal in the NPFL this season.

Kano Pillars have now won twice on the road in the current campaign.

At the Lafia City Stadium, Daniel Amokachi’s Lobi Stars rallied from a goal down to beat Abia Warriors 3-1.

The visitors went in front through Sunday Megwo in the 56th minute.

Lobi Stars fought back through goals from Segun Oloruntoba, who scored a brace, and Sunday Nnaji.
