Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has claimed that the Blues are behind Arsenal following both teams’ Premier League 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Maresca watched as goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Pedro Neto ensured both teams got a point each at Stamford Bridge.
Speaking at his post-match interview, Maresca said: “For me, we are behind this kind of club because they work every day with the last nine years with the same manager.
“It doesn’t mean when we face them, we are not going to compete.
“We tried to win the game. Very soon we will win these kinds of games.”
The result moved Chelsea to third position on the Premier League table ahead of fourth place Arsenal after 11 matches.
