NPFL: Okoro attributes Tornadoes’ win against Akwa United to teamwork

Niger Tornadoes midfielder, Victor Okoro has attributed Sunday’s 1-0 victory over Akwa United to the collective effort of the team.

Okoro admitted that Akwa United gave them a good fight throughout the encounter.

Papa Daniel’s lone strike separated both teams on the day.

“It was a very tough match,” Okoro told Niger Tornadoes media.

“With our collective effort and determination, we came out tops.”

Niger Tornadoes are fourth on the league table with 17 points.
