EPL: Supercomputer makes fresh title prediction

Opta’s Supercomputer has made a fresh Premier League title prediction.

According to the Supercomputer, Liverpool are the new favourites to win the Premier League title.

This comes after Manchester City’s latest defeat to Brighton last weekend.

Liverpool defeated Aston Villa 2-0 and now sit five points clear at the top of the English top-flight league table.

Opta’s supercomputer simulates the remainder of the season 10,000 times. And as it stands, it now gives the Reds a 60.3% chance of winning the Premier League.

That percentage marks a staggering increase from pre-season when Arne Slot’s men were given just a 5.1% chance of winning the league title.

Man City are now second favourite to defend the title.

Pep Guardiola’s side have seen their chances drop sharply from 82.2% in pre-season to 34.3% after game week 11.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have also seen their hopes of claiming a first league title since 2004 take a dip.

The Gunners now have just a 5% chance of winning the league.
