Transfer: Napoli chief rules out Osimhen’s permanent transfer to Galatasaray

Napoli sporting director, Giovanni Manna, has ruled out the possibility of Victor Osimhen joining Galatasaray on permanent transfer.

Manna claimed the Turkish Super Lig champions can’t afford the €75m buyout clause in Osimhen’s contract.

“Our door is closed to negotiations. Galatasaray does not have the budget to pay this amount at this moment,” the Italian was quoted by Webaslan.

“The fee is €75 million, there are many teams that want Osimhen. They are ready to pay this amount.”

The 25-year-old joined the Yellow and Reds on a season-long loan deal in September.

The striker has registered eight goals and four assists in nine appearances across competitions for Okan Buruk’s side.
