AFCON 202Q: Rohr invites new defender for Super Eagles clash

Benin Republic head coach, Gernot Rohr has handed a late invitation to Moise Adilehou for the team’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Nigeria and Libya.

Adilehou will take the place of injured Ludogorets star, Olivier Verdon.

The 29-year-old plays for French Ligue 2 club, Stade Laval.

The centre-back was last invited by his country in June 2022.

Adilehou joined his teammates in camp on Wednesday night.

He has 17 caps for Benin Republic with one goal to his name.
