AFCON 2025 qualifier: Moroccan referee to officiate Super Eagles vs Rwanda

Moroccan referee Samir Guezzaz will be at the centre when the Super Eagles host Rwanda in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tie next Monday.

Guezzaz, 44, will be assisted by his compatriots Zakaria Brinsi (assistant 1), Abdessamad Abertoune (assistant 2) and Kech Chaf Mustapha (fourth official).

Prosper Harrison Addo from Ghana will serve as match commissioner, while Ali Mohamed Ahmed from Somalia will take the role of referee assessor.

All the officials are expected to arrive in Nigeria on Saturday.

The encounter will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

The game will kick off at 5 pm Nigerian time.
